GERMAN WSP receives Award from Stifterverbands for Innovative Research

The Stifterverband has awarded WSP for innovation through research. We are very pleased about this, because we can only offer our customers added value by continuously developing our products. At the same time, WSP also develops and implements individual plant concepts. For these in particular, preliminary tests and investigations are often necessary. Here WSP uses numerical simulations by means of CFD / FEM, but in many cases specific tests are required for further validation. These can be carried out on various test stands at WSP.
Examples are measurements and optimizations of heat transfer coefficients, pressure losses or lifting force coefficients for floatation furnaces. In the WSP laboratory furnace, our customers’ samples can even be treated with the same heating and cooling process as in a continuous annealing line.
