The WSP/ITP-High Convection Heat Treatment Facility in bench scale is ready for operation!

For the production of cold rolled wrought materials, the short-time annealing process in combination with a rolling process are essential for the quality and the properties of the wrought material. Samples up to 400mm x 400mm can be annealed by the new WSP/ITP Laboratory Facility. All conditions like heating rate, soaking time and cooling rate are very similar to those achieved in continuous strip furnaces of real production lines. Our WSP/ITP Laboratory Facility is the missing link between materials development and production.
